一、指导思想 《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程 标准(实验稿)》对现代英语教学提出了新的 要求: “拓展学生的文化视野,发展他们跨文 化交际的意识和能力。”语言知识和语言技能 是综合语言运用能力的基础,而文化意识则是 语言运用是否得体的保证,这就告诉我们不要 单纯地进行就语言而语言的教学活动。因此, 在外语教学中,教师不仅应该教学生语言知 识,还要教他们社会文化知识。学生只有掌握 了有关目的语的语言规则和文化规则,才真正 拥有跨文化交际的能力。
First, the guiding ideology of “full-time compulsory education ordinary high school English curriculum standards (experimental draft)” put forward new requirements for modern English teaching: “to expand students ’cultural horizon and develop their awareness and ability of intercultural communication. ” Language knowledge and language skills are the basis of comprehensive language use ability, while cultural awareness is the guarantee of proper use of language, which tells us not to simply conduct the language and language teaching activities. Therefore, in foreign language teaching, teachers should not only teach students language knowledge, but also teach them social and cultural knowledge. Only by mastering the language rules and cultural rules of the target language can students truly have the ability of intercultural communication.
