D.H. Lawrence’s novels mainly reveal the repression and distortion of human nature by capitalist industrial civilization from the unique perspective of male-female relationship, which is decided by his literary view. In his opinion, both creation and aesthetics are inseparable from emotion, and can not be separated from passion. The writer who is the subject of creation must be a man of spiritual passion. Lawrence believes that the essence of art is to express the passion of life. The task of art is to show the relationship between man and the surrounding world. The fundamental function of art lies in its carrying. Only in this way is the novel the best way to reveal the rainbow of changes in our living relationships. "
