在模拟海洋热能转换(OTEC)热交换的条件下,以连续的实验研究来分析测定某些铝合金的腐蚀。包覆金属的和裸露的合金管(用7072金属包覆的合金3003和3004;不包覆金属的合金5052和3004)在流动的热带海面海水中和寒冷的深海海水中暴露试验两年时间。结果在寒冷的海水中合金全部都形成点状腐蚀,而在温和的海水中的合金没有发现点状腐蚀。均匀腐蚀的速率很低,可能是由于早期形成连续的无机鳞状薄层的缘故。
The corrosion of some aluminum alloys was analyzed and determined by continuous experimental study under the condition of simulating the heat exchange of oceanic heat transfer (OTEC). Metallic and bare alloy tubes (7072 metal coated alloys 3003 and 3004; metal free alloys 5052 and 3004) were exposed for two years to testing in flowing tropical sea water and cold, deep seawater. As a result, all the alloys formed a pitting corrosion in the cold seawater, and no pitting corrosion was found in the alloy in the mild seawater. The rate of uniform corrosion is low, probably due to the early formation of a continuous thin layer of inorganic scales.
