The Spanish IKIBANA restaurant’s selling point is the improved Japanese-Brazilian cuisine, a somewhat crazy combination that is actually a fusion of two different cultures. From 1908, when Japan’s passenger ships arrived in Brazil and brought the first batch of Japanese immigrants from Brazil, they created the famous Brazilian way of Japanese cooking for more than 100 years and got many people’s approval. This fantastic cuisine can make people feel quiet, minimalist Japanese culture, but also a vibrant, bustling Brazilian customs. The biggest challenge for a restaurant is getting people to discover the similarities and differences between the two cultures from the restaurant’s design and cuisine.
