糖生物学及糖基化工程的飞速发展,推动了医学的进步。心血管疾病如冠状动脉粥样硬化性心脏病、高血压及糖尿病所致的心血管并发症等,其发病率一直居高不下,对人们的生存和生活质量造成了极大困扰。糖基转移酶本身作为一类糖蛋白,在其中起到了巨大的作用。近几年,人们在对糖基转移酶了解的基础上,利用其功能研制了大量临床药物,其中包括针对心血管疾病的药物。糖基转移酶和糖蛋白的研究正成为生命科学研究中又一新的前沿和热点,将给人们带来更大的益处。本文以糖基转移酶在动脉粥样硬化中的研究进展作一综述。
The rapid development of sugar biology and glycosylation engineering has promoted the progress of medicine. Cardiovascular diseases such as coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, hypertension and cardiovascular complications caused by diabetes, the incidence has been high, the quality of life and people’s lives caused great trouble. Glycosyltransferases themselves play a huge role as a class of glycoproteins. In recent years, based on the understanding of glycosyltransferases, people have developed a large number of clinical drugs using their functions, including those for cardiovascular diseases. Research on glycosyltransferases and glycoproteins is becoming a new frontier and hot spot in life science research and will bring more benefits to people. This review summarizes the progress of glycosyltransferase in atherosclerosis.
