根据《中华人民共和国义务教育法实施细则》和《扫除文盲工作条例》以及原国家教委颁发的《普及义务教育评估验收暂行办法》,2001年,有7个省、自治区、直辖市人民政府和新疆生产建设兵团经过检查评估,确定24个县(市、区)和8个县级行政区划单位基本普及九年义务教育、基本扫除青壮年文盲。教育部通过审查认定,这32个县(市、区)和县级行政区划单位基本达到现阶段普及九年义务教育和扫除青壮年文盲的各项要求,现予以公布。希望这些县(市、区)和县级行政区划单位进一步加强领导,采取措施,巩固提高“两基”成果,为全面提高我国国民素质做出更大贡献。
According to the Detailed Implementation Rules of the Compulsory Education Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Regulations on the Elimination of Illiteracy and the Interim Measures for the Perfection of Compulsory Education Assessment and Acceptance issued by the former State Education Commission, in 2001, the people’s governments of 7 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and the Xinjiang Production After inspection and assessment, the Corps of Construction has determined that basic popularization of nine-year compulsory education in 24 county (city and district) and 8 county-level administrative divisions will basically eliminate illiteracy among young and middle-aged people. According to the examination conducted by the Ministry of Education, the 32 counties (cities, districts) and county-level administrative divisions basically reached the current requirements of popularizing nine-year compulsory education and eliminating illiteracy among young and middle-aged people, and they are now promulgated. We hope that the counties (cities, districts) and county-level administrative divisions will further strengthen their leadership and take measures to consolidate and enhance the achievements of the “two foundations” and make greater contributions to the overall improvement of the quality of our nationals.
