山东省菏泽市是全国著名的牡丹之乡,牡丹名园星罗棋布。明、清两代就有数百村为植牡丹而建园,较为有名的有万花村、漏泽园、巢云园、三爱堂、桑篱园、毛花园、铁藜寨花园、凝香园、何园、军门花园等十几处。大者百余亩,小者五六亩,或官办,或民营,各具特色。 现在较为著名的牡丹园有古今园、曹州百花园、曹州牡丹园。三园南北呼应,相映成趣。 Heze City, Shandong Province is the famous hometown of peony.
