From ancient times to the present, dragons are generally recognized as a representative symbol of China’s image by Chinese and foreigners, and Chinese people often add a sense of pride to themselves as “the descendants of the dragon.” However, the English word “Dragon” of “Dragon” is considered to be a monster that is full of domineering and offensive in the Western world. Recently, some experts believe that the image of “Dragon” is easy to misunderstand some foreigners who have little knowledge of Chinese history and culture, and thus it is not conducive to the promotion of the image of China in the international arena. It may even lead to the distortion of some people’s ulterior motives. As a result, experts recommend that relevant departments reshape the image of our country. This means that the Chinese image may no longer be a dragon. When the news came out, it immediately attracted heated discussions from all walks of life. Totems in people’s minds may have to be changed. Can you accept them? I came to an affiliated high school in a university in Guangzhou to hear some of my classmates and parents express their opinions on this.
