Austenitic stainless steel has been widely used due to its good overall performance. However, in the medium containing Cl, it is easy to produce stress corrosion and lead to stress corrosion cracking of many major engineering components, which has attracted great attention of all the countries. In pioneering new stress corrosion cracking materials, the Swedes first proposed ferrite - austenitic duplex stainless steel.
