The concentrations of potassium, sodium, calcium and magnesium in myocardial mitochondria were measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry before and after perfusion of ATP-MgCl 2 into ischemic-hypoxic-ischemic heart. The results showed that there was a significant difference (P <0.01 or P <0.05) between the time groups in the control group, but there was no significant difference between the time groups in the control group (P> 0.05) Under the condition of oxygen, myocardial cells were damaged and their ability to control ion transport decreased. When ATP-MgCl 2 was administered, the ability to control ion transport was enhanced due to the increased mitochondrial ATP level. So that, ATP-MgCl_2 myocardial protection, its role in the mitochondrial base point.
