Objective To analyze the indications and effects of pediatric corneal transplantation in a special eye care center in developing countries. Methods A total of 154 children (168 eyes) underwent keratoplasty at a special care center were investigated for a long time (from 1998 to 2004), and a series of cases were retrospectively analyzed. The demographic, corneal etiology, visual acuity and other outcomes were recorded and the intraoperative and postoperative details were observed
