Objective:To evaluate the effect of the periacetabular osteotomy on treatment of development dysplasia of hip.(DDH) Patients Materials:38 patients with DDH have been treated with the periacetabular osteotomy from 2002.2 to 2006.6.All patients are female.The mean age was 35.5years old(range,16~5 lyears).The mean duration of pain was 2.7 years (range,0.8~6years).The CE angle ranged 5°~-20°.8 patients had osteoarthritis with Grade 1 in,lin Grade 2,and the rest in Grade 0 according to Tonnis Type.
