Predictive microbiology generally focuses on the potential foodbome pathogens in foods.Little attention has been paid to the biokinetics of beneficial foodgrade microorganisms,such as microalgae and cyanobacteria.The latter is commonly used in the human feeding,production of chemical energy and the extraction of protein,amongst other cell substances of industrial interest.
