  Performance-based wind engineering of tall buildings is developed rapidly recent years and optimization technique is used to guarantee a mechanically optimum solution.However, these two design stages in [1] and [2] have not been integrated together yet and risk analysis should be incorporated into the methods to strike a balance between safety and economy.To this end, a numerical design methodology is proposed by combining automated design optimization with performance-based wind resistant design (PBWD) of tall buildings.
