Objective:To analyze the causesof complications following expansive single open-door laminoplasty and to find out about the way for prevention and treatment of those complications.Methods:Research complication of 121 cases of the expansive single open-door laminop treatment about 17 cases of the complications that included hematoma after posteriorapproach(18%),incomplete enlargement of spinlasty.17 complications occurred in the incidence of 14.05% (17/121),including of 13 males and 3 females with an average age of 60.3 years.The Japanese Orthopedic Association(JOA)Scale of 17 patients were 8.6 scale.The reasons,the prevention and theal canal(18 %),dural mater injury(36 %),never root irritations(18 %) and fatty liquidization(6 %) were discussed.
