When multiple Body area networks(BANs)coexist in a small area,they result in very strong inter-BAN interference,which seriously disturbs intra-BAN communications.Our goal is to decrease inter-BAN interference by cooperative scheduling,which is divided into two sub-problems: single-BAN scheduling as an assignment problem and multi-BAN concurrent scheduling as a game.For the first sub-problem,horse racing algorithm is proposed,which achieves near-optimum with low complexity.For the second sub-problem,we propose a distributed cooperative scheduling scheme,which takes horse racing algorithm as the core of it and efficiently achieves higher packet receiving rate(PRR)than the mixed strategy Nash equilibrium(MSNE)without degrading fairness.We will also present our extension of the horse racing algorithm to LTE/LTE-A systems and evaluate its performance by simulations.
