Late Mesozoic magmatic rocks outcrop widely in the Lower Yangtze River Belt (LYRB) of central eastern China and are genetically closely associated with Cu-Au polymetallic ore deposits.Petrogenesis and the tectonic setting of these rocks have been a long-term source of controversy. Here we report new in-situ zircon Hf-O isotopic, zircon U-Pb dating,whole-rock geochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic data of Late Mesozoic magmatic rocks in the LYRB.The Late Mesozoic magmatism can be divided into first-stage high-K calc-alkaline intrusions (148-133 Ma),second-stage shoshonitic rocks (132-127 Ma) and third-stage A-type granitoids (126-123 Ma).
