Qaidam basin is situated in the northeast margin of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Because of the intracontinental orogenic process of Qilian orogenic belt,the Northern Qaidam Basin had undergone complexity intra-continental tectonic deformation in Mesozoic-Cenozoic (Zhou et al.,2006,Wang et al.,2008,Xue and Yang,2002).In order to establish the tectonic evolution,the Mesozoic-Cenozoic thermal effects are studied through inversion of time-temperature evolutionary history of apatite fission tract from 3 samples in Northern Qaidam Basin.
