After reaching a peak,at present the design of influenza neuraminidase (NA) inhibitors has been in a difficult position.Recently,many natural products,especially some plant-derived polyphenols have been found to exert antiviral effects against influenza virus and show moderate inhibitory activity against NA.These compounds are very different from the classical NA inhibitors [1,2].In order to discover some novel kinds of inhibitors entirely distinct from the classical ones and help to solve the drug-resistant problem,we construct a few skeletons incorporating several structural features that are necessary for inhibitory activity of some flavonoid NA inhibitors in our study.
