Associative memory can be thought as the patterns of neuron network.Real patterns are very complex,which cant be reproduced again,but man can distinguish them easily,So pattern segmentation is an important function of humans brain.As we all know,Hindmarsh-Rose neuron model can realize dynamic characterstics such as quiescent state,periodic spiking,periodic bursting and chaos,it can simulate the neurons action in hippocampus well.In this paper,we used.Hindmarsh-Rose neuron as the node and constructed the network according to the Hopfield rule.Considering the actual circumstance in the brain,pattern segmentation was studied in the weak,medium and strong connection strength,good results were obtained via numerical modeling.At the same time,we studied pattern segmentation under random connection and proposed the direction of improvement.
