Na2O is one of the impurities in calcium aluminate slag and the existence of it will affect 12CaO·7Al2O3 and 2CaO.SiO2 crystal in slag and change the Al2O3 leaching rate and self-disintegrating rate of calcium aluminate slag.Effect of Na2O content on Al2O3 leaching rate and self-disintegrating rate of calcium aluminate slag are studied by adding Na2O into pure calcium aluminate slag.The reaction mechanism is also discussed preliminary by XRD analysis.
