Ten chemical fungicides viz.carbendazim, thiophanate-methyl, dimethomorph, prochloraz-manganese chloride complex, kresoxim-methyl, tridemorph, chlorothalonil, propiconazoledifenoconaxole, iprodione and mancozeb were tested against Ceratocystis paradoxa to evaluate the inhibition of mycelial growth and spore germination.Propiconazole-difenoconaxole was the most effective fungicide showing 100% inhibition of mycelial growth at all concentrations whereas kresoxim-methyl was the least effective.As for spore germination, chlorothalonil showed 100% inhibition and the least inhibition was recorded with iprodione.
