In order to solve the Chinas current construction demand for talents of the project management specialty, it was proposed to cultivate innovation of application-oriented talents of project management specialty.Based on the analysis of the status and existing problems of project management professional training, it builds an integrated professional platform curriculum model, a full program of practice teaching system to highlight the training of qualification engineers, brings in industry experts, founds cooperative development alliance with enterprises and reflects the university academic characteristics by taking the practice of application-oriented training in Huanghuai University for example.And it is proved that the cultivating innovation can greatly help to improve the application-oriented talents.
