This paper studies the effects of stimulated Raman scattering on the performance of a WDM system. According to the probability of communication system, a theoretical model for analyzing the effect of stimulated Raman scattering on the bit error rate (BER) of communication system is established. The limitations of the system SRS and maximum input power are discussed.
