A rapid method based on matrix solid phase dispersion (MSPD) and gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) was proposed for the determination 13 organophosphorus pesticides (phorate, dimethoate, diazinon, methyl-chlorpyrifos, disulfoton, methyl-parathion, fenchlorphos, fenitrothion, chlorpyrifos, fenthion, parathion, bromophos, ethion) in commercial milk samples. After the optimization of different parameters such as the type of adsorbent, the extraction solvent, the group of pesticides was added to milk samples and blended with 8% deactivation neutral alumina, pesticides were extracted from the mixture with acetonitrile in an ultrasonic bath, then the liquor was filtered by filter paper for analysis by GC-MS/MS and with etroprophos as internal standard.Electron impact ionization and chemical ionization were employed in a single analysis for the determination of pesticides according to the differernt sensitivity of pesticides.Recovery studies were performed at 50 and 200 μtg/kg fortification levels for each pesticide, and the recoveries ranged from 70.4% to117.6% with a relative standard deviation between 0.8% and 18.6% for the different pesticide. The detection limit of the method was less than 4.8 μg/kg for the pesticides. The developed method was linear over the range assayed, 25-500 μg/kg, with determination coefficients > 0.995.The proposed method was applied to the analysis of these organophosphorus pesticides in commercial milk samples.
