水溶性淬火介质的浓度变化,使冷却性能发生很大改变。因此,淬火介质在使用中必须测定并控制其浓度,以保证符合工艺规定的冷却性能。一般用化学分析方法测定浓度比较可靠,但测定方法较为繁琐,并应有专门的化验设备,且不可随时在生产现场进行测定。我们用糖量折光仪,直接测试了十种水溶性淬火介质的浓度,证明这是一种简便、易行、可靠的方法。 1.测试方法使用福建泉州光学仪器厂生产的糖量折光仪,量程为0~32%,外形简图如图1。测试了用十种溶质配制的水溶液浓度,包括无机盐:氯化钠、碳酸钠、水玻璃、亚硝酸钠;强碱:氢氧化钠;有机物:尿素、三乙醇胺、聚醚2040、肥皂油和北京产聚乙烯醇淬火介质原液。

The concentrations of aqueous solutions formulated with ten solutes were tested and included inorganic salts: sodium chloride, sodium carbonate, sodium silicate, sodium nitrite; strong bases: sodium hydroxide; organic: urea, triethanolamine, polyether 2040, Beijing produced polyvinylalcohol quenching medium stock solution.
