虹膜黑色素瘤的性质和处理是近代文献中甚为关心的问题。作者报告一例30年前因单纯性虹膜黑色素瘤作眼球摘除的74岁老年妇女,眶内复发,侵犯上颔窦。最终死于肝脾转移。原发的肿瘤很小、微隆起、局限于虹膜与邻近的房角。病理检查为梭形细胞B-上皮样细胞混合型虹膜黑色素瘤。作者复习有关文献后认为近来有人主张把虹膜黑色素瘤重新分类,纳入良性肿瘤范畴是不正确的。
The nature and treatment of iris melanoma is a matter of great concern in modern literature. The authors report a 74-year-old woman who had undergone 30 years of exophthalmos removal of the simple iris melanoma, who had orbital recurrence of the supraorbital sinus. Eventually died of liver and spleen metastasis. Primary tumor is small, slightly elevated, confined to the iris and the adjacent angle. Pathological examination was spindle cell B-epithelioid cell mixed iris melanoma. After reviewing the literature, the author believes that some people recently claimed that the classification of iris melanoma into the area of benign tumors is not correct.
