在淄博市的气候和土壤肥力条件下,从1987~1990年连续3年在水浇平原区开展了“10万亩吨粮田综合技术开发研究”,采用小麦、玉米一年二熟制的种植制度,组配了以改革种植规格为主要内容,以夏玉米增产为突破口的改、换、稀、密、配”5项吨粮田配套栽培技术,并大面积进行了实践与研究,均取得了明显的增产效果。我市地处山东省的中部。年平均气温在12.2~13.1℃,年降雨量575.6~679.0毫米,年日照2460.9~2813.5小时。粮田面积240万亩,其中旱涝保收面积占71.6%,小麦,玉米一年二熟制种植面积占86.7%,是全省有名的精种高产区之一。1987~1990年率先在全市水浇平原区开展了“10万亩吨粮田综合技术开发研究”课题,每年开发面积12.2521万亩,第一年度平均亩产973.7公斤,第二年度平均亩产1022.3公斤,第三年度平均亩产1060.4公斤,分别比开发前3年亩增204.9公斤,253.5公斤、291.6公斤。并于1989年在桓台县唐山镇建成了江北第一个吨粮镇,1990年在桓台县建成了我国北方第一个吨粮县,现将主要配套栽培技术与研究情况分述如下:
