大学英语课程教学应贯彻分类指导、因材施教的原则。普通高校学生入学时都存在英语水平差别较大的情况,为了满足不同层次学生的要求,在大学英语教学中实行分级教学,以“分层教学、分类指导、分级达标”为指导思想的教学模式已经成为多数大学的必然选择。作者分析大学公共英语分级教学的实践情况,结合本校的教学实践,分析第二外语习得i+1理论在大学英语教学中的运用情况。
