The desire of scientists to apply genetic engineering methods to produce and release therapeutic proteins in skin cells in the body is about to happen. They will be taken from normal mouse dermal cells and processed to produce human factor VIII protein which is then replanted back into mice. In mice blood can be measured in this cell-generated human
