我们从1980年4月到10月以及1981年6月到7月在黑龙江省尚志县一面坡进行了落叶松毛虫在自然变温条件下有效积温的研究。 试验是在距林内很近的养虫室内进行的。此室除上盖外,四周是用铁线网构成。室内的温湿度等条件与林内松毛虫生活场所的温湿度等条件大致相同。 此虫在尚志县一年发生一代,以2—4令幼虫越冬,以3令为主。1980年10月17日我们在一面坡调查越冬虫态,调查了27个样方(每个样方为1平方米),共计2令幼虫9头、3令幼虫48头、4令幼虫3头,其中3令幼虫占80%。用饲养观察的方法得出各虫态的发育历期。由于此虫是幼虫越冬,所以、对幼虫有效积温的试验分二段进行,即越冬前1—3令和越冬后3—7令幼虫期。
