在初中英语教学中,词汇教学占据着重要的位置,词汇可以说是组成语言的重要成分,词汇是英语学习的基础。在英语学习的过程中,我们会发现有些词汇是不能用汉语的思维方式来认知的。中西方文化及信仰的差异,对一些词汇的认知和理解造成了影响,某些词汇可能会涉及当地的文化内涵。因此在教学过程中,教师不仅要让学生学会单词记忆的方法,还要渗透相关的文化理论。让学生对文化背景有所了解,才能够真正地提升学生的语言运用能力。
In junior high school English teaching, vocabulary teaching occupies an important position, vocabulary can be said to form an important component of language, vocabulary is the basis of English learning. In English learning, we find that some words can not be recognized in Chinese way of thinking. The differences between Chinese and Western cultures and beliefs have an impact on the cognition and understanding of some words. Some of the words may involve the local cultural connotations. Therefore, in the process of teaching, teachers should not only let students learn the method of word memory, but also infiltrate the relevant cultural theory. Students understand the cultural background, can really enhance the ability of language use.
