一、太行,太行太行山,又名五行山、王母山、女娲山,位于晋冀豫三省边界,它北起北京西山,南达豫北黄河北崖,西接山西高原,东临华北平原,绵延400余公里,是山西东部、东南部与河北、河南两省的天然界山。太行山地势险要,高山连绵,西望吕梁,北有五台,南临黄河,东接冀鲁平原,是华北的战略要地之一,也是自古以来兵家必争之地。

It is one of the strategic sites in North China and also the place where the military strategists have been contested since ancient times.
