本文主要探讨《红楼梦》语料库汉英对比和相关研究的诸种问题,具体分析对象是冯庆华的《母语文化下的译者风格》,同时演示笔者自己做的案例研究。本文关注的重点是语料库的语料问题,因为创建《红楼梦》语料库不能像创建其它语料库那样在随机采样的基础上收集人们使用的语言材料。对比研究中汉语底本的问题绝不能草率对待,否则,翻译评论和相关诠释的基础将变得很脆弱,其学术价值成疑。
This paper mainly discusses the issues of contrast between Chinese and English corpus of “Dream of Red Mansions” and the related research. The specific object of analysis is Feng Qinghua’s “Translator’s style under the native culture”, and demonstrates the author’s own case study. The focus of this article is on the corpus corpus problem, because the corpus created by the “Dream of Red Mansions” does not collect the language material that people use based on random sampling as it does for other corpora. The problems of the base of Chinese in comparative studies must not be dealt with in a haphazard manner, otherwise the basis of translation reviews and related interpretations will become very fragile and its academic value is in doubt.
