正木(Euonymus japonicum Thunb.),又叫大叶黄杨、四季青、扶芳树,属卫矛科卫矛属。生长繁茂,四季常青叶,色浓绿而有光泽;抗烟、抗尘、抗寒力均较强,对土壤质地要求不严。城市、庭院绿化中常用作绿篱。修剪后,萌发力强,可以随意造形,满足人们对观尝的要求。为了绿化、美化学习、工作和生活环境,需要大量的正木苗木。而扦插育苗成活率较高,技术简单,管理容易,是繁殖正木苗木的一项多、快、好、省的方法。我校苗圃在1978—1980年间,先后进行了不同插穗、不同扦插时间、不同扦插方法试验,取得了良好效果。成活率高者达98%,长插穗扦插苗当年即可出圃栽植。三年来共育正木苗3.5万余株。现将具体作法介绍如下:
