近日,克劳斯·玛菲-韦格曼公司(KMW)与多家公司组成团队,共同竞标英国陆军“挑战者”2主战坦克延寿计划,并披露了相关细节。据悉,其团队中一个关键成员为皮尔森工程公司,该公司目前兼并了维克斯防务系统公司(前身隶属于BAE系统公司)位于纽卡斯尔恩泰河畔的阿姆斯特朗工厂,该工厂曾经生产了多辆“挑战者”2坦克。
