“祖国要统一,亲人要团聚”已经不再只是大陆同胞的呼吁了。随着大陆形势的根本好转,国际威信越来越高,台湾人民也在开展着寻“根”溯“源”,表现大陆与台湾血缘关系的活动。正如《台湾新生报》提到的那样,台湾是中国人的台湾,许多人离开家乡已有几十年,许多人的祖先甚至在几百年前就到了台湾。应该“静下心来思考,我们的根在哪里?并且把我们的文化和根发扬光大,永世无穷的延续”。今天台湾各阶层人士已越来越多地感觉到,无论从历史、地理、文化以及人民的风俗习惯等各个方面,台湾和大陆都有着极其亲密的关系和深厚的感情。 “The reunification of the motherland and the reunification of loved ones” are no longer just the appeals of compatriots on the mainland. With the fundamental improvement of the mainland situation and the increasing international prestige, people in Taiwan are also carrying out activities that look for “roots” and “source” to show the blood relationship between the mainland and Taiwan. As the Taiwan’s New Life newspaper mentions, Taiwan is a Chinese, Taiwan. Many people have left their homeland for decades. Many of their ancestry went to Taiwan even hundreds of years ago. We should “stop and think about where our roots are, and carry forward our culture and roots and continue forever.” Today, people from all walks of life in Taiwan have increasingly felt that both Taiwan and the Mainland have extremely close relations and deep feelings in all aspects, including history, geography, culture and people’s customs and habits.
