The mandibular first and second premolar teeth and first molars of one adult monkey were removed and two HA coated titanium alloy implants were implanted after March. Then in March to repair the upper structure, each implant to reach a little contact. Animals were sacrificed after 3 months, and 70 series of interlaboratory buccal-lingual cross-sections with a pitch of 75μm were obtained by the method of this study. Computer-aided three-dimensional image reconstruction was performed and BCR values were calculated. The BCR values measured in this study differed in different sites and in different directions. Because both implants had more cortical bone at the lingual apical side, the BCR values were greatest in the lingual aspect. The BCR values at the bottom of the two implants were higher than those at the top, suggesting the effect of (occlusal) forces. BCR
