Recently, the UK officially launched a new alcohol intake guide, the new official guide pointed out that there is no so-called safe alcohol intake. Based on the assumption that most people do not drink alcohol, the new guidelines suggest that a person should not consume more than 14 drinks per person per week (2.3 cups for a glass of 175ml of alcohol at 13%). In the previous proposal, restrictions were set on the amount of alcohol consumed by both men and women. For example, the proposal for men was not to exceed 3-4 units per day and that of women not to exceed 2-3 units. In the meantime, the British government also recommends that each person should drink a few days a week, and suggest that pregnant women should be completely prohibited alcohol. The past proposal is that pregnant women can drink alcohol once or twice a week, no more than two small cups each time.
