商品广告是沟通产销、调节市场为顾客服务的一种方式。宣传广告是现代销售学不可缺少的组成部分。我国社会主义广告主要任务在于传播商品知识,说明商品质量和特点、介绍新商品、介绍厂家牌号培养消费者的兴趣。这与资本主义国家滥用广告,甚至利用广告玩弄和欺骗顾客是有本质区别的。广告是美术与商业综合的产物,对发展商品生产、繁荣社会主义经济有积极促进作用。对于广告,美术工作者、商业工作者(包括内外贸)要给予足够的评价。这里,我认为有两个认识问题要解决:1.从美术工作者方面看,要解决对商业美术特别是广告有些轻视甚至不屑为之的问题。这里应举苏联
