包覆燃料颗粒是高温气冷堆燃料元件的关键组成部分。辐照考验是检验燃料元件性能的重要环节。为检验中国研制的 10 MW高温气冷试验堆包覆燃料颗粒的质量 ,在德国于利希研究中心的试验堆 FRJ- 2中进行了初步的辐照考验。包覆燃料颗粒装在密闭的容器内进行静态辐照考验。辐照时燃耗约 5 % fima,辐照温度 40 0~ 5 0 0℃。辐照后经宏观检查、瓷相检验以及用γ探测仪检测放射性活度后 ,确认这批包覆燃料颗粒没有释放出裂变产物 ,包覆燃料颗粒完好 ,没有破损
Coated fuel pellets are a key component of HTGR fuel elements. Radiation test is to test the performance of fuel components an important part. In order to test the quality of coated fuel pellets in a 10 MW high-temperature gas-cooled test bed developed in China, a preliminary irradiation test was carried out in the FRJ-2 pilot plant at the Yuelich Research Center in Germany. The coated fuel particles are placed in a closed container for static irradiation. Radiation burning about 5% fima, irradiation temperature 40 0 ~ 5000 ℃. After the irradiation, macroscopic examination, porcelain phase examination and detection of radioactive activity with γ detector confirmed that the coated fuel particles did not release fission products, the coated fuel particles were intact and there was no damage
