2004年9月11日,离“青岛号”大帆船起航还有两天。下午4时许,我们来到莱西路码头。穿过幽深的小巷,海的气息越来越重,视野倏地开阔起来,只见莱阳路码头上一字儿排开八九条大大小小的船只,洁白的“青岛号”静静地停靠在最右端。脱下鞋子,踏上一尘不染的船体,晃晃悠悠的感觉立刻真实起来,帆船比大船确实晃得厉害,这是我以前不曾体会过的。首先招呼我们的是船长郭川,他身着一件海蓝色 T 恤,胸前印有12个形态各异的白色的水手结,在底色的衬托下显得格外醒目。郭川告诉我很多事,关于他自己,关于“青岛号”。这艘长14.64米、宽4.38米、桅杆高度19.62米,总高21.12米、吃水2米、帆面面积98平方米的大帆船重达11.5吨,平均时速6—7
