中国保卫世界和平大会委员会于本月四日发表宣言,热烈拥护世界拥护和平大会常设委员会的决议和号召。宣言全文如下:我们代表爱好和平的中国人民,热烈拥护世界拥护和平大会常设委员会第三次全会的一切决议和号召。全会所通过的一项重要决议,要求无条件地禁止把原子武器作为侵略与大规模毁灭人民的武器,並宣布任何第一个使用原子武器的政府,将被判为战争罪犯。这个庄严的决议,反映了世界大多数人民的愿望和呼声,给了正在准备原子战争的冒险家们以严重警告。为了呼应和大常委会第三次全会关于进一步发展保卫世界和平运动的号召,我们决定首先在上海、南京、天津、广州、汉口、重庆、西安、沈阳、昆明、迪化、大连等全国各大城市,立即成立中国保卫世界和平委员会分会,更深入地动员和组织人 China’s Committee for the Defense of World Peace declared its declaration on the 4th of this month to warmly support the resolutions and call of the Standing Committee of World Peace-Congress. The full text of the declaration reads as follows: On behalf of the peace-loving Chinese people, we warmly support all the resolutions and the call made by the World Parliamentary Standing Committee for the Third Plenary Session. An important resolution passed by the parliament calls for an unconditional prohibition of atomic weapons as a weapon of aggression and mass destruction of the people and declares that any first government using atomic weapons will be convicted of a war criminal. This solemn resolution reflects the aspirations and voices of the majority of the people in the world and gives serious warning to the adventurers preparing for the atomic war. In order to echo the call of the Third Plenary Session of the Standing Committee on furthering the campaign for world peace, we decided to first of all major cities in Shanghai, Nanjing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Hankou, Chongqing, Xi’an, Shenyang, Kunming, Dihua and Dalian City, immediately set up a branch of China’s Committee for the Defense of the World Peace to further mobilize and organize people
