山西省高平市平泉煤矿始建于1982年,建矿初为高平市东牛庄煤矿。由于1991年改扩建,矿井建立在马村地界,因此,1998年更名为高平市平泉煤矿。井田面积0.984平方公里,距市区15公里,矿临巴马公路,地理位置优越,交通十分便利,依山傍水,环境优美。多年来矿党支部、矿委会带领全矿干部职工团结创新,艰苦奋斗,由一个年产不到3万吨的小矿逐步建设成为年产15万吨的规模企业,成为高平市二轻系统乃至全高平市重点企业之一。
