2005年7月6日分别来自中国、美国、加拿大、罗马尼亚、日本的5位著名画家在加拿大蒙特利尔市斯图德尔美术馆举行了为期近两个月的东西方风景画展,著名画家范保文教授是其中唯一的中国山水画家,其余4位均为油画家。这是一种别开生面的展览形式,范保文的作品引起了观众极大兴趣,他们也是第一次见到这样高水平的中国画展览。展览期间,范保文教授开设了学术讲座,并进行了多方面的艺术交流与考察,感受颇丰。为此,东南大学艺术学系博士后邵晓峰对他进行了专访,其间范保文教授的一些建议和想法涉及人们比较关心的世纪初东西方艺术的碰撞问题,并对当前中国画国际交流和地位的提升有很好的参照意义,现摘录如下。
On July 6, 2005, five famous painters from China, the United States, Canada, Romania and Japan held the East-West Landscape Exhibition for nearly two months at the Stuttgart Art Museum in Montreal, Canada. The famous painter Professor Fan Baowen is one of them The only Chinese landscape painter, the remaining four are oil painters. This is an extraordinary form of exhibition. Fan Baowen’s works have aroused great interest among the audience. For the first time, they also saw such a high level of Chinese painting exhibitions. During the exhibition, Prof. Fan Baowen opened his academic lectures and conducted various artistic exchange and investigation experiences. To this end, Shaoxiao Feng, a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Art of Southeast University, interviewed him. During this period, some suggestions and ideas of Professor Fan Baowen relate to the collision between East and West art that people are most concerned about. They also have great influence on the current international exchanges and status of Chinese painting Good reference meaning, are excerpted below.
