激光熔覆层的稀释率是决定熔覆层性能的重要参数。预置涂层厚度、激光功率和扫描速度对稀释率有很大影响,其中预置涂层厚度是决定复合涂层稀释率的最主要因素,预置涂层厚度越大,在基材表面形成“热屏蔽”效应越大,吸收的热量越多,则稀释率越低。涂层的稀释率随着激光功率的增大而增大,随着激光扫描速度的增大而减小,稀释率和激光工艺参数之间的关系可通过与能量密度之间的关系来综合描述。对于激光熔覆Ni/50%Cr3C2复合涂层,只有稀释率不超过10%时,才能保证涂层的性能,使涂层和基体之间形成良好的冶金结合。
