Using money to measure the collectible value of Republican periodicals seems boring. But this seems to be the same as introducing people today, do not know how much each other will not go with him. Eighteen years ago, in 1993, China’s bookstore auction, 50 period of the Republic published the first issue of journals asking price of 7,000 yuan. In the past ten years or so, prices of periodicals in the Republic of China have risen, but they have amounted to tens of thousands of yuan. Tens of thousands? Compared to precious stones, jade, calligraphy and painting, furniture, rare books and other auction market stars, the Republic of China as the old magazine girl, can only stand aside. Today’s Republican periodicals appear taller than ten years ago, but seldom appear in large auctions, and it seems as if a joke appears - indicating that auctions are too low. Why, then, should they be said again? The reason is that half a century ago these Republican journals were loud names, such as “New Youth,” “Yuelis”, “New Moon,” “Life,” “Independent Review,” " Observation, Oriental Magazine, and Liangyou... They are rich in content, beautifully decorated and far-reaching, and are the evidences of this important history in the Republic of China. They are not about you, but are closely connected with the times.
