霍桑在海丝特.白兰出场一章采用了以对话为特征的叙事策略。建立在对话基础上的叙事模式使读者在探疑解惑的过程中实现了与叙事对象的交流。读者进一步接近了作品人物所处的时空和心态,实现了在心理上的认知和接受。
Hawthorne adopted a narrative strategy characterized by dialogue in the opening chapter of Hester Prynne. The narrative mode based on dialogue enables the reader to communicate with narrative objects in the process of probing and doubting. The reader further approached the time and space and attitude of the characters in the works and realized the psychological cognition and acceptance.
