568 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering voted for the top ten scientific and technological advances in China in 2002: Chinese scientists took the lead in drawing a map of the rice genomic fine and the accurate sequencing map of the fourth chromosome in rice; “Shenzhou III” and “Shenzhou IV ”The launch of the spacecraft was successful; the first world-class large-scale gas field in our country was found with proven reserves of over 600 billion cubic meters; the closure of the diversion channel of the Three Gorges Project has been successfully completed; the third generation mobile communications system in China was successfully developed; and our country has initially mastered the key CPU design and manufacturing technologies ; Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences to cultivate the world's highest oil content of the new line of rapeseed; “Shenuang II” giant laser successfully developed; Peking University Medical scientists initially opened the mystery of human cell aging; Lenovo introduced trillions of supercomputers.
