北周谯忠孝宇文俭,字候纽突。是北周太祖文皇帝宇文泰第八子。武成元年(559年)封为谯国公,后拜为大将军,寻迁柱国,出任益州总管。建德三年(574年)进爵为王,拜大冢宰。建德五年参加东伐北齐的战争,任左一军总管。五年年末,西域稽胡叛乱,俭任行军总管,与齐王宪共同平定叛乱,杀叛军三千余人。建德七年(579年)病逝于洛阳,死时年仅二十八岁。 1993年12月,西安咸阳国际机场在候机楼西侧建设停机坪时,发现宇文俭墓,陕西省考古研究所对其进行了清理发掘。宇文俭墓为一斜坡式上洞墓。墓总长50米,深11米。由墓道、过洞、天井、甬道、墓室几部分组成。出土文物主要分布于
